The monolithic stone tile floor features an arrangement of individual armchairs and side tables allowing each client their own private space.

About the Project

The aim for the interior was to create a space that represented the core values of the brand being both natural and comfortable with core design values of discretion, precision and craft. You enter on the ground floor through metal Crittal doors that lead into a gallery like reception space with the confident air of precision and craft. Central to the entrance is a bespoke marble reception desk with a back drop of painted profiled timber cladding. The bespoke profiled cladding is developed in two sizes to create intimacy around the reception area and opening up in scale to the waiting areas. The linear design to the walls reflects the values of precision and definition that the clinic aspires to achieve. The perimeter walls gently curve introducing discretion and softness. Executed in solid Douglas fir timber with a white oil finish the slatted walls offer a sense of privacy yet still allowing daylight to flood through. This also integrates retail product display. The monolithic stone tile floor features an arrangement of individual armchairs and side tables allowing each client their own private space. The reception space is broken into two waiting areas each offering different levels of privacy. Corridors are clad in Solid Douglas Fir Timber planks that lead off to the treatment rooms. The consultation pods on the ground floor are clinical environments with simple grey polished plaster walls, Corian bespoke furniture and timber floors.

What’s unique about it

The functionality of the space was driven by a customer journey of comfort and discretion mixed with a level of precision and craft in the interior detailing. The use of timber screens provides a level of privacy while retaining views through from certain angles. Wingback seating offers a further level of comfort and privacy. The use of natural timber through the corridors and reception provide a softer and more relaxed feel to a clinical environment.
The original entrance hallway space doubles up as dedicated pay areas from which the clients can exit in full privacy directly to their cars.
The remaining spaces are informal with original Georgian features restored and retained to further enhance a more relaxed environment.
